STOMATEX DUO Abdominal Stoma Support SRT 135

 

Used after abdominal surgery, for people with a colostomy or urostomy. Used to prevent and treat parastomal hernia. Elastic corset design provides comfortable and snug compression whilst not impeding function.

 

The support is made of elastic fabric. The frontal part is fitted with an adjustable opening for the colostomy bag.

 

• The bag can be easily attached and accessed
• Soft elastic fabric for maximum comfort

• Hook and loop fastener on the front side
• Width: 20 cm.

 

It is a traditional elastic corset that due to the elastic fabric composition allows normal thoraco abdominal breathing.

 

The abdominal section has adjustable Velcro closures to customise the size of the opening for the colostomy bag. This optimises fit and therefore can increase support around the stoma and the surrounding abdominal muscles.

 

Elastic fabric: 50% polyester, 33% polyamide, 17% elastane, with a structure that allows high air permeability in both directions.
