STOMATEX Abdominal Stoma Support SRT 106

 

Used after abdominal surgery for people with colostomy or urostomy. Used to prevent and treat parastomal hernia.

 

The support is made of elastic fabric and firm textile. The frontal, firm textile part is fitted with an opening for the colostomy bag, made with a 25 mm wide and 75 mm inside diameter polyethylene ring.

 

Hook and loop fastener on the front side. Width: 27,5 cm. The firm anterior panel supports the abdominal muscle around the stoma and can be used to prevent or treat a parastomal hernia. It is a semirigid traditional corset that due to the elastic component,  allows normal abdominal breathing.

 

Elastic fabric: 50% polyester, 33% polyamide, 17% elastane, with a structure that allows high air permeability in both directions.
